46.945m2-wide from 84 to 8F, the Korea Design Center building has a variety of backup facilities for
designers - Design Information Center, Design Experience Space, Design Incubator, e-Design Academy, etc. By
proactively cooperating with design associations and companies, the Korea Design Center intends to keep
functioning as the pioneer of the design industry of South Korea. Walking through the entrance of the center. con can see a gigantic facial sculpture floating in the air. This structure, showing clear-cut contours in the shape of a giant ship, is 'New Mankind - New Design' created by sculptor Lee Jong-Bin, which has a total of 113 surfaces along the 20m-long body. The face in its facade is like staring Into the faraway future while the tail in the back signifies the past. |

The Korea Design Center is where the annual Seongnam Living Design Festival - the design festival representing Seongnam City - is held, too.
